The transistor stopped shrinking 5 years ago. Going to smaller UV wavelengths is no longer effective at extending Moore's Law. Clever chip design and software can only extend it so far. Atomically precise manufacturing is humanity's only hope to escape technological stagnation.

We are pursuing near-term fabrication of post-CMOS logic, while developing a stack that will one day lead to a nanofactory (massively parallel atomic fabrication).

We demonstrated the power of open-source and low-cost hardware. Solved a 40-year problem in the way of general, open-loop nanopositioning. And we'll be the first company that makes it economical to fabricate atomically precise computers.
